Uncle Dog is a band that released an album and single in 1972. Members of Uncle Dog were: Carol Grimes - vocals. Terry Stannard - Drums, Percussion. Phillip Crooks - guitar. Sam Mitchell - guitar. John Porter - guitar, bass. David Skinner - keyboards, vocals (ex-Twice as Much). John Pearson - drums. Pearson played on 4 tracks and was replaced as a member by Terry Stannard who appears on the rest of the album.

The Paper Kites are an indie rock-folk band from Melbourne, Australia. The band was formed in 2010 and consists of Sam Bentley, Christina Lacy, Dave Powys, Josh Bentley and Sam Rasmussen. They have released two EPs and their debut album States was released in 2013. Their second record twelvefour was released on 28 August 2015. Before the formation of the Paper Kites, the current five members were close friends
