1 is the third official album, but first major label release, by the rock band HURT, released on March 21, 2006. This album contains many tracks that are very dark in nature. The album has themes such as twisted logic from over-obsession with religion in "Rapture"; pain from love in both "Falls Apart" and "Unkind"; and drug addiction in "Overdose". This album was released with two different packages.

The album title was inspired by an unfinished short story Gerard wrote called "I Brought You My Bullets," which was about two terrorists in love. Frank Iero, who fronted the punk act Pencey Prep, hadn't joined MCR yet when they first started developing the album, but this song gave him a glimpse of his future with the band. I was hanging out while they recorded a demo of 'Vampires Will Never Hurt You' and I got really, really high," he told Kerrang! in 2011
If anything, their music was even crazier, but Black Monk Time remains a visceral experience that can never be replicated. 4: Julie Driscoll, Brian Auger & The Trinity: Streetnoise (1969) Something of a meeting point between US R&B, Jazz and the nascent British prog rock of the late 60s, Streetnoise’s split between Hammond-driven gutbucket instrumentals and vocal outings which find Driscoll in full voice was the perfect parting shot from this all-too-short-lived outfit. Smack bang in the middle, however, was Mr Natural, an album that reasserted the brothers Gibb’s knack for reinvention and hinted at what was to come with the unveiling of their new, super-soulful personae.
