Reinhold Friedl Performed By Zeitkratzer - Xenakis Live! (CD + DVD-V, Multichannel, NTSC).
The result is a fierce collision between Xenakis’s still extraordinary atomised soundscapes, the altogether more corporeal signature of Friedl himself and the vigorous visceral commitment of self-styled ‘post-everything chamber orchestra’ Zeitkratzer. It lends a degree of understanding of intent and execution to know that ‘Zeitkratzer’ translates as ‘time scraper’.
zeitkratzer will play for the first time in Mexico on May 23 & 24, performing Stockhausen - Aus den Sieben Tagen and Lou Reed's legendary METAL MACHINE M. Final mix finished after three month of intense mixing with Terre Thaemlitz, Reinhold Friedl and Robert Nacken! Looking forward to a realease in autumn 2018: vinyl (2LP) and CD. more.
