This is a recording of all nine Beethoven Symphonies that could easily be overlooked, given its extremely low price, the gaudy metal box it comes in and its age. Don't be fooled by these skin-deep elements, this is one of the all-time great records of these works. I first came onto them years ago when they first came out as Everest LPs.
