Alan Weaver Copeland (1926) is an American singer, songwriter, composer, and conductor. Copeland was born October 6, 1926 in Los Angeles, California. Currently working at Keysight in Loveland, Colorado. Copeland was a member of The Modernaires, first from 1948 to 1956 and then from 1959 to the mid-1960s. He also worked as a songwriter in Los Angeles in the 1950s

He formed the Alan Copeland Singers, and also recorded as a soloist. Joining ASCAP in 1954, his chief musical collaborators included Eddie Pola, Jack Lloyd and Mort Greene. His other popular-song compositions include "This Must Be the Place", "Into the Shadows", "Darling, Darling, Darling", "Back Where I Belong", "While the Vesper Bells Were Ringing", "High Society" and "Too Young to Know".

But Blushing isn't anything like a previous Copeland album, let alone an album I ever imagined they could make in my loneliest, most boring high school days listening to "The Grey Man" on repeat. It's not the ridiculous "Not So Tough Found Out", maybe the only song that can realistically be mentioned in conversation with Jimmy Eat World's "Goodbye Sky Harbor", nor is it the busy, all-genre excursions of Ixora or its twin. My best swing would be to refer to "Lavender", a cut so aggressively un-Copeland it's barely recognisable. It's chasing a feeling so potent you never consider you're not awake until you round the corner and the solid ground drops away and the indie rockers are having a smooth jazz breakdown.

Alan Turing, the British mathematical genius and codebreaker, may not have committed suicide, as is widely believed, claims an academic. But according to Prof Copeland, it was Turing's habit to take an apple at bedtime, and that it was quite usual for him not to finish it; the half-eaten remains found near his body cannot be seen as an indication of a deliberate act. Indeed, the police never tested the apple for the presence of cyanide.

Different World is the debut album by producer-recording artist Alan Walker. The album was announced back in 2017 when All Falls Down was released originally as the first chapter of a concept EP, which sets out it’s own storyline. When All Falls Down was released, it’s music video was expected to form part one of a four-piece short film, which will eventually mean a four-track EP, which eventually changed over time. Different World Q&A. What does the trailer say about this EP? The trailer paints a vague picture of what can be expected from Walker’s debut album
