Versos De Jose Marti. Versos Sencillos De Jose Marti (1973). It was a great success that Pablo Milanes has given melody to a good number of excellent poems of José Martí, great poet and Cuban martyr of ends of last century. Although the poems are already beautiful by themselves, Milanés is able to enlarge the spectrum of admirers of Martí when including those that also like good music. Milanés gives in this way a great tribute to the poetry and the New Trova. It is a pity that he haven't continued with the musicalization of other poems of Martí.
