Crosby, Stills & Nash is the first album by Crosby, Stills & Nash, released in 1969 on the Atlantic Records label. It spawned two Top 40 hit singles, "Marrakesh Express" and "Suite: Judy Blue Eyes," which peaked respectively at the week of August 23, 1969, and at the week of December 6, 1969, on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart. The album itself peaked at on the Billboard Top Pop Albums chart. It was certified four times platinum by the RIAA for sales of over 4,200,000.

The definitive folk-rock supergroup, led by David Crosby's surreal lyrics, Graham Nash's poetic nuance, and Stephen Stills' muscular playing.

Replay is the sixth album by Crosby, Stills & Nash and their second retrospective, appearing in 1980 on the Atlantic Records label. It contains no material with Neil Young, but does from CSN solo projects. It peaked at on the Billboard 200, their first album not to chart in the top ten, and is currently out of print. In 1980, Stephen Stills invited Graham Nash to accompany him on a tour of Europe, both subsequently deciding to record songs together in this unexplored permutation of CSNY. The label, however, wanted more CSN product, and with the pair still in process, released this package for the Christmas sales season. The pair continued to work in the studio together, but again Atlantic Records insisted on the inclusion of David Crosby as the CSN brand increased sales potential greatly, which would result in their next album, Daylight Again.

Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young Artistfacts. 1) Neil Young was staying in a cabin in the woods with Crosby, Stills, and Nash, writing songs. Crosby got a copy of Life magazine, and showed Neil Young the pictures of Kent State, including the famous picture of the woman kneeling down, crying over a dead body. Young, without saying a word, left the cabin carrying only that magazine and his guitar. He returned a few hours later and played, with tears in his eyes, Ohio.

Crosby, Stills & Nash's first single - and the first song most fans heard by the new superstar trio - was originally written by Graham Nash for his previous band the Hollies. They recorded 'Marrakesh Express' but never released it, so Nash dragged it out for CSN's debut album. The bouncy rhythm and playful spirit reflects Nash's trip to the Moroccan city in the mid-'60s. 9. 'Just a Song Before I Go'. From: 'CSN' (1977)

There's a reason why David Crosby, Stephen Stills, and Graham Nash didn't adopt a group name when they joined forces. From the start, they kept their identities distinct even when they blended their voices in lustrous harmony. Their 1969 debut album had the intimate, homemade feel of three friends making music together. Beneath the mellow surface, though, was a complex interweaving of folk, rock, blues, and Latin elements
