Ahead of the release of their third album ‘Big Skies’, post-punk locals Mere Women have just unveiled the Inner West-centric video for new single ‘Eternally’. Given the visual treatment by DK Robinson, the track’s haunting harmonies and rattling baselines are paired with static overlay as singer Amy Wilson walks the streets late at night. An ominous figure shadows her every move. Being the first track on the album, ‘Eternally’ forms the basis from which ‘Big Skies’ explores women’s experiences over generations, particularly the isolation and confinement felt by many in regional communities
The baleful, atmospheric post-punk of Sydney quartet Mere Women is more desolate and cavernous than ever on their third album, Big Skies. Recorded with Tim Carr, who has produced all three Mere Women albums, Big Skies is full of icicle guitars and heaving bass, and lyrics that deepen the group’s longstanding fixation on alienation and dislocation. Nothing feels as good as it used to, sings Amy Wilson on Numb. Nothing fills the void like you do.
Crimson Skies is a 2006 studio album by the Swedish metal band Cloudscape. It is the band's second studio album. On June 9, 2006 Cloudscape performed at the Sweden Rock Festival to promote Crimson Skies followed by other appearances at clubs and festivals around in Europe. A performance of the song "Demon Tears" was filmed and released as music video to promote the album. On the song "Will We Remain", singer Anette Olzon appeared as guest on vocals. Mike Andersson - Lead & Backing Vocals.
