Complete your Slave collection. Fantastic Album and an improvement over slide. Whilst the album is stylistically similar and no more advanced musically than slide there aren't any half arsed B-sides thrown on. The balleds are much better also proving that slave are by no means one-dimensional. The only weak tracks are can't get enough of you, which doesn't flow and sounds a little forced. And Volcano erupting which sounds like a bit of a rush job and is too long. Overall though even the weak tracks are worth listening to, a fine effort by Slave!
As funky as they were, Slave had a distinctive smoothness to their music. Here on their second album, the self-contained ten-member band assembled an engaging mix of songs. This collection featured two releases. The first was "The Party Song. Arranged around a swinging funk track and chanting vocals in unison, group leader Steve Washington invokes a jazzy trumpet interlude. The single peaked on the Billboard R&B charts at number 22 after an unjust ten weeks. The second release was "Baby Sinister," also spiced with that '70s funk sound.

Macroscopic hardness is generally characterized by strong intermolecular bonds, but the behavior of solid materials under force is complex; therefore, there are different measurements of hardness: scratch hardness, indentation hardness, and rebound hardness.
