The Glencoe ski centre, also known as the "White Corries", is on the hill of Meall a' Bhuiridh (1,108 m (3,635 ft)) which is on the east side of Glen Etive, outside Glen Coe proper. This centre is popular with locals and is used by many skiers from the Glasgow area as the nearest ski resort at under 80 miles.

Glencoe was one of those bands people tend to overlook, which is a pity since they have a surplus of significant music to offer. Having recorded two albums under the Forever More nameplate, in 1971 the four principals (drummer Stuart Francis, bassist Alan Gorrie, and guitarists Onnie McIntyre and Mick Strode, decided to reinvent themselves as Glencoe. Maybe not the most album of 1972, but thoroughly enjoyable from start to finish. In support of the album, Epic put them on the road opening for Deep Purple, but that did little for sales. The second and final album from this British prog band originally appeared in August 1973.
Ensemble, North Sea Gas. Style: folk. Tracks count: 13. Views: 4. Ensemble, North Sea Gas - Ballad of St. Anne's Reel, St. Anne's Reel 03:24.
