Prism is the self-titled debut album by Canadian rock band Prism. It was released in May 1977 on the Canadian record label GRT. It was produced primarily by Bruce Fairbairn and the majority of songs written by Jim Vallance (he also served as co-producer on two tracks). It achieved platinum status in Canada (in excess of 100,000 units sold). Prism peaked at on the Billboard 200 in November 1977.

The "Prism Aura" concept was based on the human ear as the "Prism" for processing the music into its "Aura" as defined by the individual interpretation thereof. The cover art for the album was chosen from the collection of photographs from the Hubble Space Telescope and reflects the both the Prism Aura from reflected light and the concept of time travel.
