We Rank Gorillaz’s 5 Album Releases From Worst to Best: At the end of their six-year hiatus, we take a look back at the animated band's best works. Featuring four tracks, three of which made it onto Gorillaz, the EP was produced by Dan the Automator and represents the band’s first attempt at flexing their musical talents, featuring much of the lo-fi sound that dominated early Gorillaz releases. While it cannot claim the title of their first song (that honor goes to Ghost Train,) Tomorrow Comes Today remains a must-listen for fans of the quartet interested in their full historical breadth.
Here are 15 of the best Gorillaz songs ever recorded. 15. Gorillaz – Rhinestone Eyes. This electro-funk song from Gorillaz' third album Plastic Beach stands out for its delicious weirdness. That pumping, synthetic organ surrounded by swirling ghost voices is some kind of wonderful. It's dark, because almost everything by the Gorillaz is dark, but it's got a jolt of energy that makes you wanna get up and adventure, as 2D's deadpan delivery is fabulously juxtaposed against stabbing samples. 14. Gorillaz – Fire Coming Out of the Monkey’s Head feat.
The best album is totally this one no exeptions. list for top 3 in the album is 1. 19-2000 2. clint eastwood 3. tomorrow comes today. and noodle's look fits her perfectly. no album can beat this 1 the music in the album goes with it perfectly it is so bouncy. 1. Gorillaz 2. demon days 3. plastic beach. 4 The Now Now. In my opinion, what makes this album stand out from the others the most would be the lack of collaborators and how all the songs are solid (or that none of them are the type of song that you would skip on this site just to "get to the good ones")
Gorillaz is the eponymous debut studio album by virtual band Gorillaz. It was released on 26 March 2001 in the United Kingdom by Parlophone and in the United States by Virgin Records. The album reached number three in the UK and number fourteen in the US, and has sold over seven million copies worldwide
Gorillaz have learned the hard way that nabbing a unique or unexpected celebrity guest does not always produce the best results. And while Saturnz Barz is not the best of this sect of their work per se, it feels like the one that challenged their sound, or rather, pushed them into bold new directions, more than any other. Popcaan delivers a stellar guest spot beneath some of the darkest production Gorillaz have put on record. Effectively summing up the album’s thesis of a party record for the end of times in a single statement, Gorillaz burst out of the gate with such strength here that the rest of the album was doomed to whimper in its wake. Which really is Vince Staples’ fault; no other MC (band included) comes close to matching his frenetic pace on this record, churning out one-liners She wet like Barbra Streisand with unmatched speed and skill. Some Kind of Nature.
Amarillo is the best song on The Fall, the album that Albarn composed on an iPad while touring America in support of Plastic Beach. The name refers to the season in which the tour occurred, but the whole thing also has this blurry vibe to it - much of it is inspired by the long, desolate stretches passing by Albarn’s tour bus window as he wove across the country. Gorillaz was the first album I bought because I heard this song. A friend played me the video, and without any real understanding of pop history or whatever this cartoon was in front of me, I simply thought - what the hell is this? It felt like the first thing of our own, the first thing we’d discovered, instead of having Zeppelin or whomever passed down from older friends or relatives.

Is Gorillaz the best album by Gorillaz? BestEverAlbums. com brings together thousands of 'greatest ever album' charts and calculates an overall ranking. Good debut album from Gorillaz, some these tracks can seem to be filler but they are interesting tracks to hear upon first listen. The standout are great and makes it good for me such Clint Eastwood, 19-2000, Rock The House, and Tomorrow Comes Today. It's a good listen overall and I would mind listening to it again sometime soon.
