Björk is the only studio album by Icelandic singer Björk Guðmundsdóttir as a child singer, released on 18 December 1977 by Fálkinn. In 1976, Björk appeared on Icelandic radio singing "I Love to Love" through the music school she attended, which led her to a record deal and the release, with the help of stepfather Sævar, of her first solo album in 1977.
Björk’s second album saw a noticeable development in her songwriting and composition; unlike 'Debut', where the songs had been written in Iceland, 'Post' was intended to convey the fast-paced and eclectic energy of the singer’s new home in London. Unlike the album’s predecessor, numerous producers collaborated on the album, including Graham Massey of 808 State and Massive Attack’s Tricky.

At Iceland Airwaves in Reykjavik, the masked mother nature herself headed up a press conference to a room of about twenty journalists. After the conference, i-D grabbed a coffee with Björk to discuss her forthcoming album, her son's band and more importantly, why we must help her save her motherland. Is there anything in particular that the album is inspired by? I think it's too early to say.
Post is the second studio album by Icelandic recording artist Björk, released on 13 June 1995 in the United Kingdom by One Little Indian and in the United States by Elektra Entertainment. Whereas Björk's previous album Debut (1993) was produced almost entirely by Nellee Hooper, Björk produced Post with collaborators including Hooper, 808 State's Graham Massey, and former Massive Attack member Tricky.
