Real People is the fourth studio album by American R&B band Chic, released on Atlantic Records in 1980. It includes the singles "Rebels Are We" (US R&B Pop "Real People" ( R&B, Pop), and "26" (issued only in the UK). The album was one of four written and produced by Bernard Edwards and Nile Rodgers in 1980, the other three being Sister Sledge's Love Somebody Today, Sheila and B. Devotion's King of the World, and Diana Ross' multi-platinum selling album Diana.

Chic-ism is the eighth studio album by American R&B band Chic, released on the WEA label in 1992. It is the final Chic album of original material, the album includes singles Chic Mystique and Your Love. Chic-ism was digitally remastered and re-issued by Wounded Bird Records in 2006, all songs written by Nile Rodgers and Bernard Edwards except as indicated. Believer is the seventh studio album by American band Chic, their last for the Atlantic Records label, and the last featuring the classic line-up of Nile Rodgers, Bernard Edwards, Alfa Anderson, Luci Martin, and Tony Thompson. The album includes the singles "Give Me The Lovin'", "Yo. mage: Chic Believer.
Caught up in the middle of the anti-disco backlash in 1980, Chic's fourth album, Real People, saw the band step back from their pure dance grooves to exercise some of their funk roots as well. The resulting sounds were more akin to their early days as the Big Apple Band and are best heard across that summer's Top Ten hit "Rebels Are W.
