Here's To Death Greek doom death metal band Shattered Hope is back with their second full-length album aimed for surprising listeners. Musicians are moving towards radical depression and present six epic tracks, from 10 to 18 minutes each, which feed the atmosphere of impenetrable grave gloom.

'Waters of Lethe'' is one of the buried gems I've encountered in the shithole of funeral bor-doom in recent years. Shattered hope plays some technical and varied music with beautiful doom/death melodies which pay homage to the beasts of the '90s. Luckily this band does not reproduce unbearable boredom like Pantheist and other completely untalented funeral bands that people tend to praise with no obvious reason. I guess there are listeners who think that a pretentious atmosphere is more important than music. Leave fucking metal alone and go listen to some ambient,.

From the band’s initial repertoire, which consisted of custom material and Saturnus/My Dying Bride/Paradise Lost song covers, to the first EP/promo releases, Shattered Hope rounded the edges of their music progressively. In effect, the release of their debut album Absence in 2010, assessed them as a promising outfit in the vein of the previously mentioned outfits.
